Podiatry - Community Podiatry Service
The community podiatry service provides assessment, diagnosis and treatment to a range of patients with lower limb and foot problems, including; - People with long term conditions such as diabetes, vascular disease, amputees, connective tissue disorders, stroke, Parkinson's disease - People with multiple and complex needs e.g. dementia, falls - People with biomechanical problems e.g. gait /postural problems - People requiring wound care to the foot - People requiring nail surgery - People with severe foot and ankle problems and conditions.

Delegation of Administration of Insulin to Adults in Residential Care Policy (P100)
There are a growing number of people who, because of disability, increasing age or infirmity, are unable to administer their own insulin and will need support. This guideline aims to promote standardisation and safety of insulin administration supported by Derbyshire Community Health Services (DCHS NHS FT). It underpins the guidance set out by governing bodies and organisations within the Acknowledgement of this policy
SOP For Designated Staff Accepting Influenza Vaccines Delivered from Walton Hospital Pharmacy Across Nominated DCHS Sites (S100)
Flu vaccination is offered to DCHS staff annually. Supplies are delivered directly to Walton Hospital Pharmacy, from where they need to be distributed to sites in a number of locations across Derbyshire prior to use. Flu vaccines require cold storage, in line with the product license. It is important to maintain the cold chain at all times as temperature excursions can adversely affect stability of the product. To set out a clear process for staff receiving deliveries of flu vaccinations in DCHS from Walton Hospital Pharmacy to ensure the cold chain is maintained and staff know what to do in the event of any breach.
