Diabetes services
We provide two services for people with diabetes - Community Diabetes for people with Type 1 & Type 2 diabetes and our Diabetes Education service for people with Type 2 diabetes in Derby and Derbyshire. Each service is designed and selected according to individual requirements.

This Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) gives an overview of the service provided by Infant Feeding Specialists (IFS). It also supports a commitment to ensure evidence-based tools and training are embedded within practice, supporting the local commissioning for outcomes recommendations, and offering assurance that the service is focused on personalised and needs based care. This Standard Operating Procedure should be used in conjunction with other DCHS Childrens and DCHS Trust policies along with UNICEF Baby Friendly standards.

DCHS Capture and Storage of Images Policy - Photography is widely used within the Trust to take images of patients, staff and the public for a range of purposes. DCHS staff also make recordings, both visual and audio, of patients, staff and the public. This policy is in place to safeguard the privacy and dignity of the subject and to ensure all images and recordings are stored and used correctly according to Data Protection Legislation and the Caldicott Principles. The images and recordings can be in relation to patients, staff and the public.
