Mental Health Act 1983 - Detention of Informal Patients under Section 5(4) Policy and Procedure (P104)
This policy provides guidance on the use of Section 5(4), nurses holding power under the Mental Health Act 1983. It should be followed by all Registered Mental Health Nurses and Learning Disability Nurses working in trust in-patient areas.
