Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust chief executive Jim Austin said:
“We were thrilled to see so many people get involved in the naming vote. Babington Health Centre was clearly the community’s favourite and it’s fantastic to have a name chosen by the people we serve. It really reflects the pride and connection our local residents feel for their health services.”
Babington Health Centre is set to open in spring 2026, offering a wide range of services including community nursing, midwifery, podiatry, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, continence care, wound management, and phlebotomy.
Thank you to all colleagues, residents, and patients who took part in the vote. Your input has been invaluable in helping us choose a name that truly reflects the community we serve.
