G57 - Guidelines for the Use of Sterile Maggot Therapy in Wound Management
The purpose of these guidelines is designed to support suitably qualified healthcare professionals in managing wound debridement using maggot (larval) therapy and to make sure it is carried out in a safe and clinically effective manner, acceptable to patients and carers.
These guidelines aim to ensure the appropriate use of maggot (larval) therapy within Derbyshire Community Health Service NHS Foundation Trust.
