Jubilee Day Centre services

The Jubilee Day Service is based in what was once a community centre, but having been transformed in 1994, now provides day services for people with higher moderate to substantial needs in the New Mills and surrounding area. It is unique in its integrated approach to older persons day care as it is jointly staffed and funded by Derbyshire community health services (NHS) and Derbyshire County council.

Daily activities include arts and crafts, Music, themed days, bingo, gardening and many more. The home from home feel makes time at the jubilee centre a real positive experience for attenders.

A patient centred approach is taken to all activities of daily living, with a aim to promote and maintain independence. Our staff are fully trained in dementia care, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.

Our partnership working with Derbyshire community health services enables service users to have access to health checks, Venepuncture, Nail care and wider multi disciplinary team access.

The centre provide a 2 course meal. Purpose use contract vehicles transport users to and from all the centre following assessment.

The person must have been assessed by a health or social care professional and meet the national eligibility criteria for care and support services.

Monday to Friday: 10.00am to 3.30pm.
