Three apprentices with Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust have been shortlisted in the annual Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Apprenticeship Awards 2025!

Laura McLeavy, working in the patient safety team, is in the running for the title of advanced apprentice of the year. Adam Robinson, working in the Oakdale Park core nursing-based services team, and Diane Concannon, with the Chesterfield and north-east crisis response team/rapid services, are both shortlisted for the degree apprentice of the year for their outstanding effort on the registered nurse degree apprenticeship programme.

The winners will be announced at a celebration event to showcase the success of apprentices across the Midlands on 2 October at the Village Hotel, Nottingham.

A spokesperson for the awards said: “Building on the resounding success of our 2024 event, this year promises to be even more spectacular with 14 category awards designed to honour the outstanding apprenticeship network flourishing across the region.”

To be shortlisted is a real achievement in itself and we are proud of the recognition they have received from the judges to place them in the finalist category.
