Public invited to NHS health meeting in Derby
NHS services will be in the spotlight at a meeting hosted by Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust on Thursday 6 April at Riverside Court, Pride Parkway, Derby, DE24 8HY starting at 12.45pm.
Members of the public are invited to come along for all or part of the meeting, starting with a focus on how health and social care are working together in Derby City. There will a chance to ask questions, followed at 2pm by the regular Board meeting to which members of the public are invited as observers.
Julie Houlder, chair of Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust, said: “The first part of the meeting is about providing an opportunity for members of the public to engage with us about health and care services in the Derby City area. We are really hoping people will come along to join in the conversation.
“The second part of the meeting is our formal trust board business. This is open to observers and then at the end of the meeting anyone can ask questions about anything which has been discussed. As an organisation we take our public accountability very seriously and this is one of the ways in which we ensure our business is always conducted in a spirit of transparency.”
Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust runs services at many locations across the county, listed on the trust’s website.
