Construction of Belper’s brand new health centre is on track and taking shape before our eyes. With the exterior structure largely in place now, we are thinking about colour schemes for the interior of the building. And we’d like your help to choose.

The colour scheme which receives the most votes will be chosen for all the decoration and finish inside the new building which is due to open in Spring 2026.
Voting is open to everyone and we’d especially like to hear from anyone who will use the new building – including NHS colleagues, patients and local residents.
The colour options and finishes take into account factors including infection control, safety and dementia-friendly guidance.
Anyone near Babington Hospital can also pop in to view the colour sample boards on display in the hospital’s reception – where you can also vote on paper slips and offer any further comments too.
But hurry as the closing date for helping us choose the new health centre’s colour scheme is 5pm on Thursday 18 September 2025.
