The future of healthcare in Belper is taking shape before our eyes. These latest images reveal the striking progress on the town’s brand new health centre – and it’s already clear this will be a landmark building once complete.
Construction specialists Henry Brothers broke ground in August 2024, and work on the impressive £15 million development has been moving steadily ever since. Designed by the acclaimed Race Cottam Associates, the centre will not only look fantastic – it’s also built to the highest environmental standards.
When it opens in early 2026, the state-of-the-art facility will feature 14 consulting rooms, six treatment rooms, a health education group room, and a wide range of services including community nursing, midwifery clinics, podiatry, speech and language therapy, physiotherapy, continence support, wound care, and phlebotomy.
A bold step forward for local healthcare – and it’s getting closer every day!
