Windows 11 Upgrade Program Summer/Autumn 2024
As part of the Trust's programme to replace our older computers, some laptops have been identified as needing to be replaced.
Without the upgrade, your laptop will not be able to accept an essential upgrade and will gradually become inoperable. It is crucial that you book a slot to swap your device and that you attend your booking. Bookable slots will be available at DCHS sites to book into when is convenient for you to come along and swap out your laptop.
Owners of laptops identified for replacement, will receive an email asking them to book into a session over the coming months.
Attached to the email will be a short questionnaire asking questions about your role and current laptop along with a link to the booking page for the swap sessions.
You must book onto a session to have your laptop swapped. It is up to individuals to book on to a session that is convenient for them.
Important – please remove any files stored on your desktop and save them to either your own personal drive (H:), One Drive, or a team folder. Also please bring the charger for the laptop.
