PAT Testing for remote workers
We recognise that home-based working is increasing and is here to stay, and that not all home-based staff live near to their historic base.
To ensure all DCHS issued equipment continues to be PAT tested please see the attached document detailing the available options.
In short, the options available are:
- Attend usual base on the annual test day.
- Attend a local DCHS site on the annual test day as below
- In extenuating circumstances we may be able to attend team meetings (contact Estates helpdesk).
- New equipment should be tested via the raising a job on the Estates helpdesk portal.
Dates
- Ash Green - 10 & 11 June
- Buxton Hospital - 2 December
- Whitworth Hospital - 20 & 21 May
- Heanor Memorial Health Centre – 2 August AM only
- Eckington Health Centre – 3 July PM only
- Repton Health Centre - 3 July AM only
Please see your local IFM colleagues on site for location of technician on the day.
If staff have something that concerns them, they can log a job via the Estates portal Welcome - DCHS ESTATES (derbys.nhs.uk) and we will endeavour to help them, any equipment will require taking to a DCHS site as under usual circumstances our staff will not visit people’s homes.
