Parking at St Oswald’s and Long Eaton
A reminder about the parking management arrangements which were introduced by car park operators CHP at both sites in January:
- Permit holders must display permits in their vehicles in the permit areas.
- Permit bays are available on a first come, first serve basis.
- If there are no permit bays available, or a vehicle doesn’t have a permit, then they must park off site.
- There are dedicated spaces for some tenants as per their leases, only those tenants are permitted to park in those dedicated bays and permits must be displayed.
- Staff with blue badges can park in the accessible bays at the site.
- Permits are not required for the drop off bays and are exclusively for staff dropping and collecting medical supplies. There is a maximum of 30-minutes use of these spaces.
- There is strictly no parking permitted on any double red lines.
- There is strictly no parking in the ambulance drop off bays.
Kate Davis, operations and relationship manager for CHP, said: “If you intend to park in the permit bays, please ensure that you remember to display your permit as NPC will not be cancelling any parking notices for vehicles not displaying a permit. Since January, most of the requests for cancellations have been passed through to me in the first instance. Going forward, if you do receive a parking notice, please follow the appeals process that is detailed on the parking notices received.”
Kate added that since the new parking arrangements were implemented there have been fewer vehicle-related incidents on site and concerns over fire, health and safety issues in the car parks have been minimised. Kate added: “We would like to thank you for your continued support and understanding.”
