New telephony licences - phones changing over at all sites
We are changing our phone contract from Vodafone to Microsoft Teams Calling. There are a few parts to the changes that will take place and it could affect all colleagues working at DCHS. This will only affect staff who currently use a phone on various sites throughout the Trust (not mobile phone users).
Important to note:
All staff who use our receptions across all sites to put calls through to them, should update their current mobile phone number/landline (office number) on NHSmail otherwise the new system won’t be able to find you from the current directory.
To update your mobile phone details:
- Log into NHSmail
- Click on Profile (first tab my profile)
- Update your details here with your telephone number/mobile number etc.
- Remember to save your updated profile.
Some teams will be offered an MS Teams Phone licence so they can dial out from their Teams dashboard, if this is the case you will need to return your mobile phone and update your details on NHSmail with the new phone number you have been allocated.
The Chesterfield area will be the first to go live with the new system, and over the next few weeks line managers will be contacted to discuss how the changes will affect their teams.
Please note: this guidance does not apply to our GP surgeries.
