Logging compliments – new system
Compliments are valuable, welcome and important to the Trust and should be seen as a means of learning how things have gone well. When they are received they can help us to:
- Understand that our service is being provided to our patients/carers and family members’ satisfaction
- Provide positive feedback to our staff
- Influence our organisational and service development
- Inform our quality assurance initiatives.
Compliments make us feel good. In the workplace, they help remind us that we're seen, valued and appreciated. This in turn increases job satisfaction, engagement and overall wellbeing in the workplace. In other words, we feel psychologically safer – something we all need to continue to feel good at work.
Teams are now able to log their own compliments centrally through Civica. The Patient Experience Team has developed this step-by-step user guide and are facilitating some training sessions:
