"If it matters to you, then it matters to us" – organisational strategy update

Thank you so much for all your contributions to the ‘If it matters to you, it matters to us’ survey.

Between you, you shared 36,000 words with us – every one of which our analysts read.

If you shared your views or experience, your views have been heard.

Our analysts felt privileged to read what you had written, and care was taken to make sure they truly captured what you told us.

What’s happening next…

  • We will bring together your feedback from this survey with feedback we’ve collected from our executive drop-in sessions, our Board, our senior leaders, and our governors.
  • We’re holding focus sessions with a range of teams, and our staff network groups, to understand more about ‘how’ we can do things differently in the Trust for staff, patients, and our communities.
  • All the things we’ve heard will be considered alongside findings from a literature review of key documents which tell us more about key national priorities, and innovations.
  • We’ll also be linking with our colleagues in Joined up Care Derbyshire to make sure our strategies link up, and that they help us all work effectively together.

All of this information together will help us to draft up the priorities and direction for the DCHS Organisational Strategy.

Checking back in!

Once we’ve done all this, we’ll go back to all the key people we’ve spoken to along the way, this absolutely includes you – our staff.

To check back in with you, we’ll be launching a further brief staff survey, ‘Have we heard what matters to you’.

This survey will be your chance to share your view on the draft priorities and direction for your organisation’s strategy. Don’t miss the chance to shape the final version.
