Car parking in Alfreton - Changes for NHS permit holders

We have been notified by Places Leisure - (Alfreton Leisure Centre) that from 1 July 2024 they will no longer be able to support parking on their site for NHS permit holders or day use. The reason behind this withdrawal is that the current arrangement does not permit (Places Leisure) to allow/sell parking for non-leisure centre users.

To continue to do this is in breach of the parking order for the site. We apologise for this and the short notice as I know that our permits expire at the end of this month.

Please note, parking in the front car park is for the use of patients only.

If this is full then unfortunately they will need to find parking off site – details below.
