APNA NHS Annual Conference 2025 Abstract submission portal
Asian Professionals’ National Alliance (APNA NHS) is a voluntary organisation constituting health and social care professionals of South Asian heritage working in the NHS and Local Authorities. APNA NHS aspires to amplify South Asian voices, influence policies, promote the values of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and champion health equity. Dedicated to addressing health inequalities, combating racism, and ensuring equal representation, APNA NHS is a catalyst for change. Through collaboration, we celebrate our cultural diversity, striving for a more inclusive NHS that values and benefits from our shared experiences for the benefit of patients and carers.
Organising committee of APNA NHS annual conference is pleased to announce the Research & Innovation Competition of its Annual Conference on 16-17 OCTOBER at Holiday Inn, Liverpool, UK. This year’s conference will be bringing together a range of health care professionals from across the globe to address the issues to healthcare workers and health systems focusing on planned changes in NHS 10 year plans.
We encourage structured abstract submissions across a range of physical health/ mental health/ workforce related topic using one of the following themes:
- Work addressing health inequalities in underserved groups.
- Digital and technology solutions to improve care for all.
- Novel models of care - virtual and closer to home.
Eligibility:
Anyone from the UK and abroad, irrespective of nationality or ethnicity can participate as presenting authors in this competition. This will be three stage process and two competitions (oral and poster sessions)-
- Stage 1 - The abstracts will be sorted into three broad categories.
- Stage 2 - All abstracts will be scored by multiple independent assessors.
- Stage 3 - Top 9 abstracts will be invited for oral presentation - 3 each of the broad categories stated above and scored by multiple judges. Rest of submission, will be invited for poster presentations.
All of the above presenter will also get trophies and certificate posted.

- Abstract Submission Opens: 21 May 2025
- Abstract Submission Closes: 11 September 2025
- Notification of selected abstracts: By 7 October 2025

How to register:
