Allied healthcare professionals
There are over 350 allied healthcare professionals (AHPs) employed with us and they represent five of the 14 recognised AHP professional groups - occupational therapy, paramedics, physiotherapy, podiatry and speech & language therapy. Our AHPs work in hospital, clinic and community settings.

Return to practice programme
We offer a return to practice programme and are pleased to welcome you as a returnee physiotherapist, paramedic, occupational therapist, speech and language therapist or podiatrist making the move into our community trust on our allied health professional return to practice programme.
Required working hours
The programme offers a variety of placements and is there to help you complete your required working hours towards your re-registration process with The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). We hope your experience enables you to feel supported in the process and into your new role, as we know it can be challenging at times.
Step to re-registration
Your experience with us is a step towards your re-registration. We hope that it will add positively to your lifelong learning journey.
We aim to support you, so the experience gained whilst in the trust will help you establish confidence in your abilities as therapists and provide a solid foundation to develop your skills further with support from an experienced practitioner. Experience gained in the Trust will also assist in building your CPD folder, offering a depth and breadth of supporting evidence for your re-registration and lifelong development and learning.
